Missing Her
Missing her is like day going to night,
And my glee turns to blight.
When she’s gone,
My days have no dawn.
When she’s away,
There is no day
And all my fears escape the bay.
My stronghold that is my heart
Begins to fall apart,
Pain pierces through my heart.
When she is near,
My pain begins to disappear.
My heart sings aloud,
My body feels like a cloud.
I sing of the joy of love
As we fly like a dove,
Rising to the sky above.
For missing her is like day going to night,
And my glee turns to blight.
When she’s gone,
My days have no dawn.
