Four Words
Four words.
You’re a worthless person.
Those four words and I suddenly remember what you said.
Sticks and stones may break your bones but words will never hurt you.
Do you remember that?
You were wrong.
Those words stung worse than a bee sting.
My eyes filled with water, and my heart snapped.
My confidence lowered tremendously, and my self love was drained to zero.
I had sticks and stone thrown at me,and they have failed to break me.
Words on the other hand have harmed me tremendously.
What do you have to say to that?
Are you going to make some excuse and say Everything will be ok.
Are you going to smile and make your eyes friendly while trying to dry my tears?
