I tear apart often just to feel;
to feel the pain that should be real.

When deep in the darkness my heart still sees;
all the things I will never be.

I look into your eyes and I see what's inside;
with the pain that I caused, there is no place to hide.

I look back and feel that I should cry;
but instead I sit here and I wonder why.

Why is it that the story is always the same;
why it's on me that they place the blame.

If only through my eyes you could see;
if only you could see how it feels to be me.
