An evil cast in darkest spite
Will come forth with a vengeful blight
And conquer everything that's right
And see the world eclipsed in night
Unless a hero, strong with might
His evil powers choose to fight
And when the battle's at its height
Will beat the darkness with the light

I believe that this poem aptly describes the battle between two complete opposites and the obvious outcome.
