Can you find me?
I need help.
No one, not even myself.
Maybe if you listen,
You can hear my struggle.
The struggle of trying to hold on.
Reality is slipping away,
From my very finger tips.
As time goes on,
Sanity becomes a hop, skip, and jump away.
Losing distance,
Losing the world.
Falling off the face of the Earth.
No one can hear the scream for help.
I'm alone.
So cold and in the dark.
Left out of the everyday life,
Left out of the living,
Left for the dead.
Realization appears,
I'm alive!
I'm in bed.
Covers over my head,
Lights out.
Lean over,
There's the floor,
The door,
And my life.
Open the door,
Family,
Life,
Love,
All there for me.
