cameron.
i drew a line on a map
to where my heart could find a home,
then drowned it in the wrath
of the ocean's unflinching tide.
bottles of wine can numb
the ache of any heart,
and music can drown out words
that no one wants to hear,
but dear cameron
i am unable to forget the curve
of your long and slender fingers
as they skimmed the moon's surface
then traced the bare skin of my spine.
i will be waiting,
however long
it takes you.
