Did you slap back when he slapped you?
Did you fire back insults as he hurled his?
Did you stain his reputation for his malicious gossip?
Did you despise his skin because he derided yours?
Did you take his money since it was yours he stole?
Did you kill his sister because he murdered your brother?
you consider him
violent
uncultured
libelous
racist
thieving
evil
but you do not realize
that in the mirror of retaliation
you have become his image
Do you know
that you are just like him?
