To be,
If you don’t mind friendly people.
Sometimes,
They’re not always much fun
To be around.
If you don’t mind,
A touch of
Haters
Because,
Not even in middle school,
Do they go away.
High school is a beautiful place

If you don’t mind
Tapping pencils on the edge of the desk,
Smacking of the gum in the freshman’s mouths,
Pushing and shoving each other in the halls,
Or maybe,
Screaming at each other,
About petty things,
such as
Stepping on one another’s shoe
Which isn’t half bad.
If yours are not the ones being scuffed.
Oh, high school is a beautiful place
To be,
If you don’t mind,
A few homework assignments,
Getting a F or two,
Every now and then.
Or such other
Educational standards,
As our teachers of terror,
And their
Misspelled errors.
And it’s various segregations,
And not-so-good confrontations.
Yes,
High school is the best place of all.
For a lot of things such as,
Making the drama scene,
And making the pom team.
And singing Chris Brown songs,
And,
Doing the dougie to the rhythm of the beat.
And walking through halls
The thunderous halls
Admiring the
Perfect shaped sculptures,
And the black and white photographs,
On every inch of the white walls.
And adoring the different varieties of
Vanilla scented perfumes,
And old spice colognes.
Also things such as,
Reading Facebook statuses,
Making out with your weekly boyfriend,
Waving green and gold foam fingers
At the home games,
And skipping class,
Not worried about,
The detentions to follow.
Waiting for the summer to arrive-
No more “early mornings!”
HURRAAYY!
But then,
Right when you think,
everything is going great

YOU FAIL A CLASS.
