I am eating an apple.

The methodical munch,
The crunch
Juice,
Running down my chin.

Crisp,
Cool,
Like ice in summer
An apple is in winter.

Out the window
Shuffling

In snow
munching.

On hunches
Listening,
Eating,
Living,
A squirrel
Holding
An acorn hat and
Nothing less.

Balanced
Hunched against the weather
On a twig, like a feather
Precarious;
Fat ruffled feathered
Blue Jay
Doing anything but
Something
Nothing less.

I am eating an apple

Nibbling the core
Nothing less,
There's nothing more.
