I Am...
Rain pours down in torrents.
I am alone in the street.
In the city.
In the world.
My hair plasters to my head, but
I do not push it back.
I tilt my face back and close my eyes.
I open my arms wide, to embrace the cold.
I am alone in the street.
In the city.
In the world.
Lightening pops in the sky, cutting it, but
I do not go inside.
I smile, glad to see the light.
I laugh, to encourage the lightening.
I am alone in the street.
In the city.
In the world.
Thunder booms in great clashes, but
I do not cover my ears.
I spin, wanting to be enclosed by sound.
I dance, happy to have the music.
I am alone in the street.
In the city.
In the world.
