I couldn't handle it
Knowing how much you cared
I was really scared
Of hurting you
I guess I did care
Just not enough to see you cry
In despair
You cared more than me
I couldn't keep dragging you on
You felt like my pawn
I couldn't let that be
So really I did care about you
Just not as much as you cared about me
