Aeons since that time,
The moment I saw first light.
All of us together,
Compacted, connected, close.
We were not us,
But our souls were.
Nubile and noble,
Energy.
Billions of years
Long gone since then.
Not even a score
Since our lives started.
A year since,
The day we first met
Again.
No idea of this kindred connection.
Now we're here;
Brothers in spirit.
Two souls reunited
On God's green earth.
Together.
