Red
A misunderstood phenomenon;
One without end.
Associated with rage,
Or a passionate fire.
However true it may seem,
Those of us with the curse,
Have a calm disposition, deep down.
Please do hesitate in your judging,
For we, we are human too.
Red is our blessing, our curse,
We are few and we are unwavering.

The author's comments:
I am a ginger. Yes, yes. In school we had to write about some trait we have and I chose my hair because only 4 in 100 people are red heads. Often times red heads are judged as angry and hot tempered. Really, my friends say I am the most gentle person they know. = )
