A
bunch
of colors,
blending as
one falling from
each branch, every
tree, only to work in
unison with one another
to create the most beautiful
season. A time of year, which
the world looks at peace because
of the warm colors surrounding our
world. Creating an atmosphere with an
amazingly beautiful appeal. Our breath is
taken away. The sun beats warmth down
on my smiling face. The slight breeze is
hitting me ever so softly. The air is full
of terrific smells of pumpkins. The
temperature is perfect, allowing
me to reach my perfect state
of mind. No where else
I would rather be
right
now
the
world
seems
to be at
peace.
Thank
you
Fall.

The author's comments:
While writing this poem, I had a rather different strategy than I do for more serious papers. I sat in my desk in room and just blankly stared out the window. After a while I received some encouraging motivation from my instructor who said, "You seriously need to get something done." After her motivation or threat (whichever you prefer really), I headed to the computer. The words just flew from my head to my fingers and before long, I had written a poem!
