Woke up today
didn't like my reflection.
So, I transformed
into something else.

At first: failure
but a second try
brought huge success.
I am kinda pretty?

Gazing at myself
wondering who I am
The mirror shows
someone I don't know.

She is covered
head to toe in
powder and perfume.
Where did I go?

Just decided to put down my thoughts about my typical morning ritual of 'beautifying' myself. Sometimes I feel guilty for wanting to cover up my God-given face. Like most girls, I have a tendancy to think I am ugly. Ladies be proud! Beauty isn't found in makeup.
