Wishing on a Star
Cold night,
No light,
Stars dot the sky like birds in flight.
White doves, frozen in the cold,
Made out of paper, fold by fold.
Staring at these specks above,
Wishes mold to things I love.
I wish for money, lots of green,
I wish to see the things unseen.
Like what he really thinks of me, Or if she really does agree.
Perhaps my wishes will come true,
They'll welcome me, "Bienvenue!",
The angels being "they" I mean,
They'll help my sight to truly see.
To see things with unclouded vision,
And therefore to make the best decision.
Life passes by so fast, so quick,
Then death seeps in, black and thick.
So in the time before this ending,
Spend your nights always befriending,
Befriending the stars in the sky, So you'll have friends even after you die.
