Ghost
Falling, falling to her fate,
A place full of love and hate.
Mirrors surround her on every side
But inside all she wants to do is cry.
A pale web crosses her frame,
Tuffs of hair on her head to keep her sane
And to protect her against the bitter cold
That will never loosen its hold.
Eyes that are broken,
A heart that won’t work.
Mouth that seems to never have spoken,
Personality that lost its perk.
Nothing more than a ghost
Haunting her mind as its post.
Never to leave, never to live,
But what wouldn’t she give,
To love her herself again?
