Painless
Pain
Just because I'm not showing it
Doesn't mean I'm not hurting
I may keep a happy face but that doesn't mean I'm happy
I'm hurting
When I'm alone my eyesight blurs as tears fall
As I sob, silently, unable to scream my pain to the world
My pride will not let me, ever show another the tears that fall from my eyes. They are mine and mine alone
Who knew a drop of salty water could weigh me down as though it were a boulder
A boulder that had just fallen from high in the sky
But I found that when I cut the collar
The symbol of my love
From my neck
I felt free
And I finally moved on
