Shards of Broken Glass
I’m at the bottom
Of this pit
The broken shards
Of dark blue glass
Transparent and
Deadly
Broken through
The rough and
Calloused skin
It never stays
No!
For that does it
Not the justice it
Deserves
And the clouded
Sky above opens
Up and shows
Even the heavens
Are disturbed
For nobody
Truly knows how
I feel.
Not even myself
Because that
Is something
I’d rather
Not know
The answer to
If thats alright.
