Thoughts
Sitting in the back of the room at school.
Thoughts going through my head that are not cool.
Death because of my misery and gloom.
People say I’m happy- well, they assume.
I cannot control where my mind will travel.
I cannot control the thoughts that unravel.
I cannot control the thoughts in my mind.
I cannot control them... not all the time.
It’s because of how mean people can be.
How corrupt we have made our society,
Destroys people at mind and at heart.
Causing them to end before they can start.
Sometimes when they look at you, anger in sight;
They gossip all day and disrespect you at night.
They don’t realize the harm they imbed.
Making people wonder if they’re better off dead.
But you’re not. You’re amazing, pure and true.
Don’t give up. It’s not worth it. Just believe in you.
And one day when that thought crosses your head.
Kick it out, because... it’s better off dead.
