another empty river

the rushing steam has stolen to many dreams
if you dare venture towards it, beware,
for its never demising loneliness is greedy
the rapids will wash you away, and drag you to the bottom
it hopes to fill itself with the feeling of life
but for each soul it steals if feels more empty
for everything sinks, causing all life to die
