And when all the words are lingering there
I'm alone
With the wind in my hair

I knew I never should have allowed my heart to sing
Or jump
Or soar
Why is it that even in the summer my lungs burn
From the winters air
And my lips blister
From another's Pilgrims, which blushed as they
Touched my own
But now my two puritans
Are left alone
With no preaching pair to match their own

An age is but a skip
In time
And when I'm eighteen
It wont matter anymore

But when you say no
And I say yes
I see your eyes nodding with me
Even though your Pilgrims speak such a
Pious "No"

How can you say No
When I know, that
At the end of the day
You want me
And you never want to let me go.

My breath escapes
And chills my Blushing Pilgrims
And makes them wish for yours.
I am sorry
That I came too late
And you were early

But why can we not forget that?
And just allow our lonely Pilgrims peace
And let them hold each other
One more time

Where this flame comes from
Is a fire
Which burns in you and me
And we know
One will be burned
so we don't dare try
Although every secret we keep
Is one of desire
And who am I to say I do not fear this?
And who are you to say you do not want this?

Lets just allow our blushing Pilgrims time to warm
Against eachother
