Tick tock
Time is wasting away
The clock is ticking down the seconds you have left
You try to run
To get away
But you can’t out run time
You can’t run
Nor can you hide
From time
Even when you think it has stopped
Time goes on
It marches to a beat
A steady rhythm
Just like a soldier
Marches to the drums
And the beat goes
Tick tock
Tick tock
Tick tock
The hourglass is running out of sand
Time is slowly bleeding out
Time saps your energy
It feeds on your life force
Like a succubus
It sucks your life away
Time is the unbeatable enemy
Your greatest nemesis
Like an ex-wife
Time will take everything from you
And bring you to an early grave
Time will be the death of me

I dare you to try and not laugh at the end of this poem. However serious this poem is, i had to throw in a little comedy.
