I'm the Girl Who Prefers One Rose
I’m the Girl Who Prefers One Rose
I’m the girl who prefers one rose
Instead of twelve or more
I’m the girl that would rather spend Friday with you
Than at a party where I’m ignored
I’m the girl you wouldn’t have to serve
To wait on all the time
I’m the girl that won’t make you beg for forgiveness
Just two words and we’re fine
I’m the girl who prefers a unique special room
Over boring stereotype walls
I would rather have a movie night
Than check out sales at the mall
I’m the girl that would rather stay up late
Talking to you on the phone
Than go out, get drunk at a stupid club
And wake up in someone’s home
I’m the girl that would rather swim in the ocean
Than sit on the beach and tan
I’m the girl that won’t make you hold her bags
I’d rather hold your hand
I’m the girl that would rather be outside
Than stuck in some fancy store
I’m the girl who prefers a backyard picnic
Not an expensive five star place
I’m the girl that instead of texting you
I’d walk over to your place
I wouldn’t be at the edge of the filed
With pom-poms and a too short dress
Id cheer from the stands cause’ you’re just that good
Not because I’m trying to impress
I’m the girl that would want you to be yourself
Instead of being something you’re not
I wouldn’t kick you while you’re down
Not even if we fought
I’m the girl that doesn’t want a bouquet
I prefer a rose or two
I’m the girl that wants to be looked at
The way I always look at you
