My Mirrored Life
I look in the mirror, and what do I see?
My dreams, my thoughts, my fantasy.
I see far beyond my reality,
And dream about how everything should be.
I see my world, I see myself.
I dream my dreams, and nothing else.
I hear children laughing and ringing bells.
I sense ice cream, chocolate, glorious smells.
My world of glass exists beyond rainbows.
My mirrored self has personality that glows.
My mirrored fantasy has finally come true.
My mirrored world consists of you.
My life beyond the half inch glass.
A fantasy world that can’t be passed.
If only this world would always last,
I’d move through happily, and not too fast.
But sadly my mirrored world will end.
I say good-bye to my fantasy friends.
Go back into the world- a world so blue.
At least in both of my worlds... I have you. <3
