Hockey: The Fight for Fans
The NHL felt the need to make an apology,
after the lockout brought great madness to fans and lost numerous amounts.
To help gain fans they were given apparel from many prodigies.
And some even had free concessions and pro shop discounts.
The fans
still filled with disappointment
Even them Canadians
the most hockey mad population on earth
did not care about the player-owner agreement.
What would happen to arenas in Phoenix and Dallas?
Last year
before the lockout
the rinks still struggled to fill with fans.
The City of Boston
home of the Boston Bruins
2011 Stanley Cup Champions
is fighting for fans.
NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman feels the need to take our great game to a spectacular height.
And chairman Jacobs believes the future is extremely bright.
But the real challenge is expanding the hockey’s audience.
