Even Clowns Have to Do Their Taxes
Even clowns have to do their taxes,
Amateur clowns too.
Sometimes beautiful people,
Have bad hair days.
I claim to be two things or more,
A stoic oak, holding up the world alone.
An only island inhabitant, Save Our Ship.
Yesterday I wanted to take on the world.
Today I think I'll take on the couch.
So what does that make me?
A barking dog is unsure of time to quit,
But later tonight I know,
He'll find himself warm on my clean clothes, wondering,
Why I am not so calm as him.
Why is anyone not so calm as him?
