There I saw them,
Eyes with darkness in them.
Staring straight through me,
Grabbing a hold of my thoughts,
Me unable to get away from the stare of life or death.
Confusion runs through my veins,
And makes me insane,
Now I can feel them.
Them being the eyes from which I hide,
Deep inside I want to stare back,
But too afraid of the outcome of my actions,
I create distractions.
Trying to run away from time,
But time is me,
Living, breathing, loving you.
