A Lonely Room
Light pastel walls, a pink lightly shaded,
the soft white rug, encloses the floor.
And here come the windows,
unearthing themselves from the shutters.
The outside grass stays closed to the eye.
My lampshade, my radio,
stare blankly at me.
The light illuminated from my bathroom
simmers down.
The world goes quiet and creeps on my slowly.
Could anything be so beautiful?
Could a lonely room ever be so sad?
