Blind
Staring into the mirror she sees
Not the girl she once knew, but the girl they destroyed
Vacant eyes gray where blue used to be
And the space for her heart now simply a void
Blind to her beauty, she notices only flaws
Invented by the monster called society’s lies
Wishing for perfection, a hopeless lost cause
She turns away from the glass as she cries
