Finally Coming Out
It’s incredibly dark
In this tiny little room
I only hope
I can get out soon
I see skirts to my left
And some sweaters to my right
I think I’m claustrophobic
This space is too tight
All these pressures are pushing me
Out towards the door
I definitely need some more…
Time to think!
Yes that’s it!
I need to contemplate
Just a little bit...
Okay now I’m ready
All I needed was some space
But now that I have
Made up my mind
I have cracked the door
I can see the light
So much freedom
I think I just might
Take a couple steps
Out of that dungeon
You don’t know how good it feels
To swing that closet door open
