Why do I keep the picture
Engraved on my eyelids
When I know there's no chance
Of us holding hands
Do you keep sending signals
Or am I picking up
False stares and smiles...
You know what?
No
I'm not doing this again
I should go on
Spouting more romantic
Crap
And wondering what
You're thinking
Blah blah blah
But if I haven't asked you
By now
I probably don't want
To know
I like my delusional
Little magic wonderland
Much better
Than chances of rejection
And embarrassment
So whatever
I'll just keep wondering
