Where were you?
Scared and alone I called for you,
Screamed your name for help.
To afraid to stick up for me you let him get me.
Your personal reputation was more important
Than me.
I would be there for you if anyone ever harmed you,
But you left me in the dust.
That boy harassed me and you let me suffer,
I came to you for help but you denied me.
Sadden deeply by your lack of care,
I sobbed for you to help.
The boy got a hold of me and dragged me down,
Through a stairwell that felt never-ending.
Locked in a room full of silence I laid still in the dark.
You weren't there when I needed you,
Where were you?
