Remember in the Morning
They say that drunken words
Speak a sober mind
But oh how I wish that isn’t
True
I said too much
Last night
Too many words
That shouldn’t have left my lips
The worst part, though,
Is that I would give anything
To be right back
In that place
Drowning my sorrows
In alcohol and soda
Walking through the city
Feeling so alone
But now it’s the morning
And I’ve got to pull myself together
I’ve got to carry on with my life
With work and school and everything
