speechless

a
thought unformed
a broken
word
left to wander
incomplete
silent
to the core
words
bubble up within me
but i just can’t seem
to bring them
to life
they crawl up my tongue
and open my lips
but as they take that final step
right into the world
they drop a thousand feet
they die
forgotten
never heard.
