Larger Than Life
Loneliness spreads its wings and
takes flight in the weak.
Always aiming towards me particular, it likes to make me hell.
Regret was my in. I regret my mistake, the mistake of hiding it.
Great in proportions, the secret it odd.
Explaining my reasoning it far-fetched, but I shall explain.
Racing through my mind, images appear.
The pictures bright and vivid, sometimes never there.
Here and there the voices fade, pacing is my only cope way.
Always pacing, back and forth, fantasy overrides my wants and needs.
Now its sunken, my fantasy unfolded. I can't hide
Life that I once had, fantasy engulfing every moment I have.
Incredible images and thoughtful voices speak, I can't stop.
Fearing the next attack, yet yearning for it.
Escaping wasn't a plan. There's no escaping a dark fantasy.
