Forget, forget!
How I wish I could!
How I really should!
I should forget her hair
beautiful, and lighter than air.

Forget, forget!
How I cannot!
Why can I not?
Why can't I forget her eyes,
so kind and pretty,
like sculptured ice?

Forget, forget!
How I long not to remember!
Can't my love fade, like an ember?
Why must I love someone,
when I am only a star, and she the sun?

This is my shot at writing poetry; kinda crappy, I know, but it was my best shot.:P Hope someone else feels the same way!(and all apologies for the last line of the poem if it contains more than five lines; there are only supposed to be five)
