Captivating Sea
You’re as blue and as beautiful as the eyes of a boy I know,
Waves gently crush into a hush,
And in this world, a splashing glow,
The captains ship from long ago descend deep in this rotting sea,
Whispers are heard in every wave,
And these whispers beckon me…
Underneath the ships debris are treasures far deep,
Sparkles reflect the warming sun off your watery face,
And in your sandy blotted eyes, I wish for you to keep,
You’re such a captivating beauty, a light wrapped about my heart,
The simple essence of your beauty makes it hard for us to part.
