In The Middle

Why do some things always happen to me?
It always seems I don't get a break
It seems I'm always caught in the middle
Between two opposing forces
Two sides trying to tell me their right
Maybe I believe one and not the other
Maybe it is proven you should trust in a certain one
But the other side has too much pride
It gets to the point when I can't handle it
I duck under your fighting
Trying to find safe
