&quot; For I know the plans I have for you,&quot; declares the Lord, &quot;Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future.&quot;<br /> -Jeremiah 29:11

All rooms where occupied
in the town of David
where Jesus had been lied

But alright it was not
for the king was thinking
He had devised a plot

to destroy the baby
the king of Israel
Would it succeed, maybe

Anger was satisfied
when the kids where no more
For Rachel wept and cried

The world was filled with mirth
when He sent His own son
For God so loved the Earth

Fully human and God
His humble beginning
to His death on the cross

The one fully human
but also fully god
did what no person can

Jesus feels our pain
our sufferings too
when no one sees are shame

For his standards are great
Ego is idolatry
As bad as murder, hate

No one can keep these laws
No pastor or preacher
not even a child

But we are of great worth
For God has chosen us
For God so loved the Earth

Fully human and God
His humble beginning
till he died on the cross

Can't you see king has come
for a generation
that don't deserve His love

But it is not too late
to see him one day
at the the big, grand, pearly gate

All that i said is true
His mercy extended
to all men, even you

Now you must make a choice
to accept him or not
But if you do, rejoice

The world was filled with Mirth
when He sent His own son
For God so loved the Earth

Fully human and God
His humble beginning
to His death on the cross

But we are of great worth
For God has chosen us
For God so loved the Earth

In this poem, I describe the greatest kind of love. God's Love. This poem doesn't go into as much detail about what happened between the birth and death of Jesus, but it tells the entire story at the same time. God made humans out of dust. Therefore, we are nothing more than dust. But God loves us and made us anyway. But when we fail to meet his expectations, something has to die in order to pay for that sin. As the poem states, no one, no matter how good, can live up to God's expectations. Ego is bad, and hate is equal to murder. But God loves us so much that he is willing to send his own son, Jesus, down to the earth to be born of a poor virgin in an animal stable. After the birth of this baby king, King Herod wanted him gone, so he sent his soldiers to kill every baby boy in the small town that Jesus was born in. But Jesus escaped. Throughout Jesus' life, he never sinned. He was persecuted and beaten and painfully executed because of how much he loves us. While Jesus was dying on an old Roman execution tool, the cross, he was carrying the sins for everyone. Now, God is willing to forgive your sins if you just call out to him and admit that you are a sinner, and ask for his forgiveness. When we do that, we become joint heirs with Jesus, meaning we can become children of God! Thank you for taking time out of your day to read my poem. I really hope that you got something out of it.
