Struggling to shine.
You stole my heart, and took it away.
You hid my heart in the depths of this world.
I've searched and searched and searched to the end of the world and back
Wanted signs everywhere, have you seen this heart? Horrible condition.
Nobody called. They didn't care, they were looking for their own heart,
Nobody found my heart until they did. They were my own personal murderers
They found it and screwed with it until it broke.
I've been lost in hell since then
I couldn't find it because they hid it perfectly,
Hell is worse than imaginable
I'm still not right and I don't think I ever will be
But now I'm strong enough that the next person that finds my heart will have it coming
I can take it back from them and I will
I won't get it stolen again is what I'll say
then I will hold it up for the world to see me shine
I will say "I told you I'd come out on top of the world!"
I promise myself I will not be left behind and have someone take it
Ever again
I'm so close it find it again.. I can feel it.
