My Silk-thread Soul
The atmosphere echoes
Through dry, dark colored grass:
An undisguised song,
Beating and buzzed,
Naked in my summer voice.
Delight embraces the rising Earth.
Light green leaves with inspiration
Meet the rush of blood to my heart.
Stop.
Listen.
Whispers of smoke intoxicate yourself:
What few learn and many assume.
You are observing thousands of millions of books
From my silk-thread soul,
Reaching for me.
Full words shade myself
With a fragrance of sun,
And invite my distillation.
?? Dead?
? Forever?
No.
? Passing alone?
In the mad night,
Eyes full-noon.
Odorless.
And as supple as the ripples and origin of leaves
And proud and in love.
? I know.
There.
Breathe.
Have acres of fields read the words?
The Sun, crowded with shelves
Shall lean to my belonging.
The wind shall taste my kisses.
And the meaning of this perfume shall possess my breath,
I shall spear the Sun and take the scent
And celebrate you.
You
Are
Me.

My mind is like a basin that fills with thoughts. Eventually, this basin floods and that's when I write. Usually, I don't know what I'm writing about when I write it. So it's only after I finish when I finally decide what the piece is "about".
This poem is about self-development: creating yourself and growing/getting stronger when you're faced with adversities.
