And then lunge through a day.
I like that moment of pure sour
Which the sweetness drags away.
I like to see things happen twice
Before I go and share.
I like that last minute of day
Before night becomes aware.
I like to watch you on the sly.
I know you watch me, too.
I like to hear you say goodbye.
I won't say it to you.
