The Student Teacher
You were new here to this school,
You had caught my eye,
I looked in your eyes,
I felt protected, loved,
Safe and that you would care for me,
I can’t take my eyes off of you,
You started teaching,
I found out that we enjoyed the same sport,
It is baseball of course I didn’t say anything,
But know that you left from this school,
I miss you and theirs a part of me
That wants to hunt you down,
But how?
Or should I suffer in silence?
And pretend to be okay and smile,
Like everyone else,
Know that your away, I think of you all the time,
It’s time for me to move on and try to forget about you.
