Heart of Gold
There is a little girl.
She has blue eyes and golden hair.
The gold reflects that pure of her heart.
She likes daisies and butterflies.
She dances in the rain-
I dance with her.
She's so innocent.
Sometimes, when I'm not with her,
I feel like I'm now in the real world and being with heris a fun, magical fairy tale. The real world is unfair.
It's easy to misunderstand, to get confused; you don't know what's right and what's wrong.
But then I remember dancing
in the rain
with the little girl with the shining eyes. And truly, that is what's good in the world.
What's worth every day for me
is seeing her shining face
and that's enough.
