He awoke to birdsong.
Dew on the windows
reflecting sun rays
into awing spectrums
paints the sheets in beauty.
A smile graces his lips
as the swallows serenade
the dreamy morning
with songs of high pitched
excitement and optimism.
He steps onto the balcony
to be greeted by the floral breeze.
Spring runs her warm fingers
through his bed mangled hair
and all he can think is:
What a way to begin a Sunday morning.
