My life is a rose.
Beauty without pose.
But in my beauty,
I am confined
Because I cannot see
Because I am blind.
I tell myself I’m ugly
I tell myself I’m bad,
While the people around me say
I’m the best friend they have ever had.
I put myself down,
Make myself drown.
Afraid to see
The beauty inside of me.
Scared to become
A self-absorbed girl.
I don’t want that
To run my whole world.
I want to have fun,
I want to be free
And keep on hiding
The beauty in me.
