I've Got
I’ve got a typewriter that is missing an ‘e’ key,
a crumpled clove cigarette in my back pocket that I will never use,
books on how to be alone and books on places that never have existed,
I’ve got a mug from Canada filled with day old black coffee,
and a mind full of half baked nonsense,
I’ve got a mouth that says everything but the truth,
and a black chasm of a heart thats surrounded with barbed wire fences,
But I don’t have extra string to sew myself back together.
