you remind me of a flower, you were beautiful, just beginning to form. I couldn’t piece together the fact that you would soon expand, and act as a blanket, sheeting my life. you were most extravagant then, yes, I remember. though you seemed promising of forever, flares of reality repeated in my mind. they came alive as you started to recede from me. as your everlasting bloom began to wither.
