When I was twenty and ‘0
They said beware the draft
But I had nowhere else to go
I could just build a raft
For when I run from the draft
But surely they will catch me there
Or maybe I could just go to Mexico
And grow out all my hair
When I was twenty and ‘0
I learned they will find you
No matter where you go
There’s nothing you can really do
They will hunt everyone they need
Because they have to fill the ranks
Now I’m twenty and one
And boy now I hate tanks.
